SnapWell respects your privacy and shares your concern about the security of information you submit to our websites and related applications ("services"). This privacy policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and your rights in connection with the storing and processing of your data.

Information We Collect and How We Use It'
Information from all users
As with most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store the data in server log files. This includes your browser type, language preference, referring site, file requested, IP address, and date and time of access. We use this information to analyze trends, administer and secure our services, track aggregate user activity, and gather demographic insights for internal use.
Information from registered users
We collect personal data required to fulfill our Terms of Service and provide a customized experience. Examples include:

Activity and journal data: Recordings of meals, exercise, body metrics (e.g., blood pressure, blood sugar), sleep hours, and personal notes.

Forums or community features: Posts include content, username, profile image, date joined, and optional location. Posts in private groups are only visible to members of those groups and authorized SnapWell team members.

Connected devices and apps: You may link third-party devices or services (e.g., Fitbit, Apple Health) to your SnapWell account, allowing synced data exchange as authorized by you.
Information from affiliates
Participants in our Affiliate Program must provide contact and website information for referral tracking and payment processing. SnapWell does not share affiliate data with third parties or give affiliates access to user data.
Information not collected
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information such as social security numbers, genetic data, or religious affiliation. If you store such information voluntarily in personal notes, you are solely responsible for compliance with any applicable regulations.
Children under 13 years of age are not permitted to create or maintain a SnapWell account. We do not knowingly collect information from minors or direct our content to them.

When linking SnapWell to other services (e.g., Fitbit, Facebook, or X), you authorize us to share designated data. Those third parties are governed by their own privacy policies.
Legal necessity
We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect our business, users, and the public against fraud, abuse, or threats.
Aggregate data
SnapWell may share non-identifiable aggregate insights, such as demographic statistics, for analytical or partnership purposes.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and related advertising tools to improve site performance and display relevant ads. You may manage preferences through Google Ads Settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Web beacons

Business transitions
If SnapWell is acquired or merged, your personal information may transfer as part of the transaction. We will provide at least 30 days’ public notice of such changes on our website.

We use cookies to maintain secure sessions, track preferences, and personalize experiences. If you disable cookies in your browser, some features or login capabilities may not function properly.
Securing Your Data
SnapWell employs multiple layers of security aligned with PCI DSS standards, including encryption, firewalls, and intrusion detection. Data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (https). Despite INFOSEC protections, no online system is completely secure, and you use our Solution and may transmit data at your own risk.
Data Transfers
Our systems are hosted in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and processing of data within the U.S., consistent with this policy.
Data Retention Policy
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to deliver our services or as required by law and security obligations. Inactive accounts are not automatically deleted unless you request data removal.
Controlling Your Data

Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant updates will be communicated prominently on the SnapWell website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
